The Piano - By Jahniah

An old wrinkly man is playing a peaceful tune on his piano, in a dark room where he can concentrate. Whilst the man plays his sorrowful tune he remembers his emotional, mixed past. He continues to play as his wife appears, wrinkly and old yet he still sees true beauty. She slowly plants a graceful kiss upon his face. His wife slowly fades and disappears. As he continues his lonely tune his mind takes him back to World War 2. He and his companion take cover behind a crumbling brick wall. He tells his loyal comrade to fire but in a blink of an eye his friend is shot. Full of guilt he holds the dying man in his arms and weeps as his friend slowly slips away. His emotional tune brings him once again back to the dark lonely room.
